Day after Hello From Taiwan wrap and I’m so sad production is over. 😭 I’m sentimental I know. We had our fair share of challenges, and maybe we were overly ambitious, but ultimately this incredible cast and crew pulled off some real magic. So grateful for this experience and I truly am appreciative of the journey.

Check out and follow my film’s process! We will be making HELLO FROM TAIWAN in July with the AFI Directing Workshop for Women! We’re hard at work prepping for this - help me advocate this story about a Taiwanese-American family struggling to re-unite in 1989 California. Also with the support of the AFI DWW program, which is specifically designed to increase the numbers of female directors working professionally in narrative film and television. We’ll be launching our crowdfunding campaign very soon in mid-March and I’m actually nervous about it, but also so so excited - because I truly believe in getting this story out!
