Hello From Taiwan has made the news! Excited to have been interviewed yesterday by Sarah McGrew, a reporter for TMJ4 news, the NBC affiliate in Milwaukee, as they wanted to do a story on Women’s History Month. Watch the video interview here!

Thanks to Milwaukee Film’s Community Engagement and Events Manager Maureen Post for setting it up, and check out Hello From Taiwan at the Women’s History Month program at the Milwaukee Film Festival, playing virtually from March 1-31, 2021. Bonus points as this event is presented by Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin!

The film series is streaming today Feb 11 through Feb 23 for MoMA members. Hello From Taiwan streams with Canción sin nombre (Song without a Name) by Melina León from Feb 18-23.

Hello From Taiwan won the Grand Jury Prize at the Taiwanese American Film Festival! Thank you so much to this festival that means so much to this film personally. The Taiwanese American film community is special and wish it could’ve been in person this year: the Taiwanese food and boba at the festival was always delicious. (And thanks to Ho Chie Tsai for sending me a screenshot for proof that we won!)
